International Congress of Toxicology is an important international academic conference launched by the International Union of Toxicology (IUTOX) every three years. The purpose of IUTOX is to foster scientific co-operation in the world and promote the progress in toxicological science and technology, in particular by sponsoring the international congress of IUTOX. Up to now, sixteen times of international congress of IUTOX has successfully been organized. During the 15th International Congress of Toxicology held in USA in July 2019, through the election, IUTOX has made a decision that the 17th International Congress of Toxicology is going to be held by the Chinese Society of Toxicology in 2025.
The 17th International Congress of Toxicology (ICTXVII, ICT2025) will take place in Guoce International Conference and Exhibition Center, Beijing, China, from October 15 to 18, 2025. The Congress will be co-hosted by IUTOX and the Chinese Society of Toxicology (CST).
The theme of ICT2025 is “Toxicology for Safe Environment & Healthy Life”.
The congress will proceed through the series of the keynote and plenary lectures, symposiums, workshops, continuing education courses as well as poster presentations.
The topics of the Congress include (not limited) Environmental toxicology, nanotoxicology, clinical toxicology, epigenetic toxicology, biochemical and molecular toxicology, industrial toxicology and chemical injury, analytical toxicology, genotoxicity and carcinogenicity assessment, heavy metal toxicity and related diseases, computational toxicology, modeling and simulation in toxicology and disease, target organ toxicities and molecular mechanisms, drug and food safeties and risk assessment, toxicology of herbal and natural medicines, alternative methods in toxicology, 21st Century predictive toxicology, next-generation risk assessment (NGRA), new approach methodologies (NAMs) and application in toxicology, safety assessment for new energy, big data and artificial intelligence, organ-on-a-chip and 3D printing, toxicomics and high throughput analysis, toxicity pathways and adverse outcome pathways, regulation and acceptance, toxicology education, etc.
It is expected that more than 3,000 scientists and experts in toxicology and related fields in the world will attend ICT2025.
